Good room, nice rooftop, pretty good location. The host Carlos is really nice and helpful with everything (e.g. organizing a scooter or giving tips for puerto escondido).

Everything, the room was amazing and spacious I would recommend for any couple or solo traveler’s, there’s a shop on the corner which sell local eggs and fresh tortilla perfect for breakfast and there’s a 24 hour oxxo down the road for anything else they don’t have. The terrace on the top is by far the best thing about the property with a fantastic view of the sunsets and cool area to chill out or take a call.

The only complaint about this place is that there is local nearby dogs not directly at the hotel but they can be heard early in the morning barking and sometimes at night but just make sure to pack ear plugs and it’s not too much of an issue but everything else makes for this

Carlos is amazingly helpful with any questions about the area and how to get around. He responds promptly and even helped me get my laundry done! The area is beautiful, and the terrace has a spectacular view for the sunset.

Great apartment, pretty much brand new and has an epic terrace at the top. Carlos the host is very friendly and always on hand with any help. We stayed two weeks here and would definitely come back. I always spend a lot of time researching and looking for.. 1. Clean places 2. Quiet places 3. Good location 4. Good reviews 5. Value for money 6. Air con that works Some notes 1. About the dogs, yes there are dogs and yes they bark. Did they make so much noise you cant sleep ? No (and i am fussy about sleeping well). Also, theres dogs everywhere in Puerto Escondido 2. About the hot water (or lack of), after some digging and talking to other people staying in other places, seems that hot water isn't really a thing here. If youre that fussed then i suggest drinking the water in the 10 litre bottle that Carlos gives you, half fill it with water, leave the water out in the sun, use that water instead of the shower itself. It works well, did this a few times. 3. There is a tiny shop next door, please do bring cash and please do buy stuff from there, the people who run it are super friendly and its better than giving your money to Oxxo 4. Bring cash to Puerto escondido, most of the atms charge a huge amount to draw money (one tried to charge 175 pesos!! The atms in chedraui and the bus station are more reasonable at 35 pesos. 5. Theres just about enough utensils to cook with, you will need a bottle opener though if you want beers. 6. Do go to el Cafecito, best value meals in Zicatela 7. For swimming, you can actually hit the spot between Zicatela and Playa Principal, just before the curve of the beach. Smaller waves makes it a good spot to swim.

The location is great but it is on a hill which is a killer if you need to walk back in early afternoon

The room was spacious, very clean, nicely styled and appointed. Carlos welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around, he was extremely kind and helpful and made sure we had a great stay. The roof terraza is a hidden gem, beautiful views of the sunset and town, hammocks and tables and chairs. We had breakfast on the bar there most mornings and it was a lovely way to start the day. The location is great, a short walk from the zicatela strip and beach and a 30 minute walk from centro.

Everything was super clean, AC works well, comfortable mattress, location is amazing (perfect sunset spot), it was my first stop in Mexico and thanks to Carlos I felt at home immediately :) he helped me with everything and responded immediately! Couldn’t imagine a better start!

Modern, clean and quiet apartment! The rooftop is amazing. AC is great and the rooms are spacious. I felt very safe and the host was very kind to help out where needed! Sweet spot in between different nieghborhoods of Puerto.

Kitchen has basic utensils. No great supermarket close by.

Location is 10 minute walk from playa Zicatela which is great. Carlos is an amazing host who is super helpful. The beds are comfortable. There’s a great view from the rooftop. WiFi works well.

It is already stated but keep in mind there is only cold water in the shower but it honestly feels nice with the heat.
