The Chestnut Horse

Location was good.

No food and drink service was available after 5pm on the Sunday and 8pm on Monday. The staff had all left the premises and left me a front door key and a phone number if I had any issues. The lack of access to even a drink was pretty poor.

Charming old pub accommodation with super friendly staff set in a gorgeous wee village. Delicious breakfast and dinner was varied and tasty.

We stayed over a very hot couple of nights and the room/bedding was too hot.

Beautifully presented with great attention to detail and little touches to make our stay comfortable. The food was stunning and the staff were fantastic. We had a super stay and will come back.

Lovely location

Paper thin walls, could hear the people talking in their rooms late into the night. Stairway up to the rooms very steep and the step at the bottom is higher than the rest which is rather jarring
