Seaview cottage North Wales

The location was great and the facilities in the cottage were excellent. It was comfortable and warm. On arrival the cottage looked welcoming and we soon settled in. We would certainly consider staying there again.

The back garden not a place you could sit but I was there in winter and if it was the summer I would sit on the prom

Very clean, fresh bedding & towels. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans etc all available. Kitchen has great facilities

Got what we paid for! lots of amenities available like air fryer and washing machine + tumble dryer! The bed in the sea-view room was very comfortable

Disneyplus on the TV please! On more serious notes the front door was not wheelchair accessible, both not having a ramp or being wide enough. The house in general requires more upkeep than a cleaner, nails were sticking out of the floor in doorways and it felt like I was getting prodded in my feet every time I used the stairs. This, on top of things with easier fixes like the alignment of mirrors on the wall and the mattress in the smaller room sinking so much that you hit the bed frame as you get on, was slightly disappointing but I guess that's what we get when we book the cheaper accommodation.

Everything! It was very clean and tidy, it was lovely and warm when we arrived, everything we needed was there, iron, towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, hair dryer, washing up liquid, cleaning stuff, tea towels etc…the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The bed was clean and extremely comfy with amazing views out across the sea to the great orme and puffin island. It was lovely and quiet so we had a lovely restful stay! It’s in an excellent location with plenty to do and see around the area, the little town is really quaint with plenty of variety of shops to pop in to. There’s lots of variety of takeaways in the area too. Our hosts were lovely, very informative and replied very quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay. We loved it here and can’t wait to go back!

Nothing at all! But I would like to touch on the musty smell some people have commented on! It’s an old stone cottage at the foot of a mountain, the musty smell is in fact not must but the smell of the stone house when it’s a bit cold. As this is a letting and not inhabited 24/7 it can take a while to warm up (especially in these colder months with not much sun able to heat up the stone at the back of the property) it’s not musty, it just needs to warm up a little in the kitchen which is where it’s coldest and the smell is more prominent. After us being in there 24 hours with the heating on and us cooking and heating up the room the smell had all but gone. We have been in similar properties and had this explained to us and it was absolutely the case here.

The property is cosy and close to attractions and main roads / town with great views of the ocean.

It would have been good to have proper sheets rather than a nylon / synthetic mattress cover on the beds
