We absolutely loved our stay here. The host, Phi, was absolutely incredible and super hospitable, while we conversed totally on google translate/whatsapp he always made sure we were comfortable and happy always checking in with us. He offers affordable bike and motorbike rental (would recommend hiring as the place is situated a bit far from the main areas but that is the beauty of it). Awesome authentic breakfast too. He can also arrange a taxi for you if needed. Super clean and rooms are lovely. He opened the place during COVID and sometimes business Is irregular, so book here, show him some love we promise you will not regret it! We hope to visit again one day

We spent 3 nights and everything was perfect. The score of Phi's house is not a scam at all, it reflects the reality. If you want to spend some peacefull days in this area, choose them!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, es war perfekt sauber mit großem Bad. Gut hat uns auch gefallen, dass es eine dicke Bettdecke gab und nicht nur ein dünnes Laken, wie sonst in Vietnam oft üblich. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist super freundlich, besonders der kleine Sohn, mit dem wir etwas Karten gespielt haben und der Betreiber, der uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben hat. Das Homestay liegt schön im Grünen direkt neben Reisfeldern. Es ist nah an der Bai Dinh Pagode, deren Besuch wir auch wärmstens empfehlen können. Der Betreiber des Homestays verleiht außerdem Fahrräder und vermietet Roller, sodass man die Umgebung gut erkunden kann. Falls man nicht selbst fahren möchte, bucht er einem auch Taxis. Uns hat er sogar den Transfer zum Flughafen Hanoi organisiert, was ohne Probleme geklappt hat! Die gesamte Anlage des Homestays ist überaus gepflegt und es gibt sogar einen Pool mit Liegen und sehr gutes Essen (die Frühlingsrollen sind super!). Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden hier sofort wieder übernachten!

Eine wunderschönes Homestay mitten in der Natur! Wirklich wunderschön und ruhig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft selber ist wunderschön, hohe Decken und tolles minimalistisches Design. Man kann in der Unterkunft kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen und auch günstig einen Roller mieten. Die drei kleinen Hunde aur dem Gelände haben uns zusätzlich unseren Aufenthalt noch versüßt!

Nichts! Es war perfekt!

The food was okay. The grounds were gorgeous. The staff were very friendly. I loved the pool and the owners small dogs! The lighting in the room was awkward for evenings. It is better to have bedside lighting for those who like to relax by reading at night so they don't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights.

Having to drive by a very smelly dump site to get to the property was unpleasant. There needs to be desktop or task lighting near the bedsides for when the overhead lights are out but someone is still reading or on their phone. The bath towels were very thin and small.

It was a beautiful sanctuary after staying in more hectic locations. The peace was blissful … large room with veranda, hot water and swimming pool was an extra treat. The owner was lovely and super helpful. He organised Cars for us to go and see the main attractions. This was so much nicer a choice than Tam Coc which is another crazy touristy town. He gave us bikes where we could cycle around the paddyfields and see the nearby pagodas. They also did a huge pile of laundry for us at a very reasonable cost. All in all it was incredibly good value.

They didn’t stock white wine or ice. We solved this by getting a taxi to a nearby supermarket but maybe something to consider in the future if they’re going to have more Europeans staying there. There does seem to be a general assumption in Vietnam that all tourists drink beer.
