GBWhat I did like was the location!!!
The apartment itself was quite old-style and not as clean as expected. The shower had some mould on the walls, and the shower doors didn’t close properly, causing water to leak all over the floor. The power outlets were outdated, so standard European chargers didn’t fit without an adapter. There was also a safety issue: where the kitchen tiles meet the wooden floor, the edge was elevated and sharp, creating a risk of cutting your feet if you’re not careful. Additionally, the city tax per night wasn’t included in the advertised price, which felt a bit misleading. The check-in process was inconvenient — the app didn’t work, so we had to wait for the administrator to arrive. He said “5 minutes,” but we ended up waiting 25 minutes in the heat, tired and uncomfortable after a long journey. When he arrived, there was no apology or explanation for the delay. Overall, it was minimum comfort, but since we stayed only one night and left early in the morning, it was manageable.

Was a little dated. We didn't drink the tap water as the tap marked as cold was the hot water. Didn't see the host as it was self check in , which was fine but would be better/more reassuring to have the access details in advance, not at the check in time. We had to locate our passports in the middle of Verona, before we were given the access details. That could have been asked for the night or 2 in advance.

The bed wasn’t very clean. The apartment is in the fourth floor and there’s no elevator
GBThe location was good for the Arena we were going to the opera. This is why we booked.
This place could be amazing but........The toilet would not flush at all we had to use a bucket and fill it with water. The lights in the main bedroom didn't work. The kitchen had no kettle or drying up cloths. We had to leave crockery on the draining board. The shower room is off the main bedroom not ideal for friends travelling together. The shower cubicle needs some attention as the doors stick I thought I was trapped for a moment. The curtain pole in the living room was loose so the rail came away when the curtain was pulled to open the window. I wish we had known about the 6 flights of stairs. I am 69 years old with two knee replacements that are brilliant but I am nervous on stairs especially carrying luggage. It would have helped if the get in instructions had been sent earlier. We had had a hot long journey because of heavy traffic from Umbria and 1.5km walk from our pre booked arena carpark.
