Nice, big room. Hostess met with a welcome drink, then cooked lunch for me. Location is pretty good, about 800 meters from Elephant Sanctuary and on the right side of town for going to the Udawalawe National Park

Tesgi Safari Villa was a perfect getaway! The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Loved the peaceful environment and the amazing views. Ideal for nature lovers and families. Definitely recommend this hidden gem for anyone visiting the area. Would return again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at TeshiSafari vila. We stayed a nights and did the full day safari, which we booked through the accomodation. We could not recommend this place more- our room was beautiful (the nicest we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka) and the safari was also brilliant. A/C, huge bathroom etc. The food during our stay was incredible. We even ate fresh fruit from their garden. They guys here were absolutely fantastic and looked after us so well during our stay. Highly recommend staying at this place if coming to Udawalawe.

The property is located very close to the Udawalawe Park and the owner offers safari tours at a very good rate along with breakfast! The breakfast was good and very filling. The room we were given was large enough for 4 people to be in (two beds and two bathrooms). What really made this place special though was the owner. He is a very kind and helpful guy. He gave us a ride twice and helped us with figuring out the bus route and overall just really made the stay!

We really liked it, the house was clean and comfortable, we had a wonderful safari experience, the owner was very kind, and we had a wonderful breakfast and dinner!

Our stay at Teshi Safari was magic! We just stayed for one night as a transit and would have loved to stay longer! The bungalow is very spacious, modern and surrounded by the beautiful garden with a terrace to enjoy a home made papaya juice:) The owner has a hospitality background and worked in resorts; now she put all her love and knowledge into her own family business and welcomes guests in the newly built bungalows. We had an amazing singhalese dinner - home made and very delicious and found ourselves being invited to join the family's new year's party which was just lovely and heartwarming. They organized a safari in the Udawalawe park nearby which was absolutely worth it! It is less crowded than other safari parks. The driver was great and very caring and we saw lots of animals, even an elephant family with their baby. They even prepared a delicious breakfast when we came back. If you are looking for an authentic experience, supporting a lovely family following their dream running their own business besides all the mass tourism hotel bunkers - book it and be excited! It was perfect!

There is a lot of love for details and great craftsmanship. The food cooked by his mother and wife was one of the best curries we had in Sri Lanka. teshi also booked a safari for us, we were very happy with our guide. It was very useful that you could pay for everything through an online link.
