Good location in the city center, but quiet at night.

We booked apartment with separate bedroom but received a studio without separate bedroom instead. Meanwhile, the host made changes to the online description and name of the apartment by removing the separate bedroom. Unfortunately, the host claimed that everything was fine so she refused to compensate us for this clear discrepancy with the description. After very long discussion with Booking.com we received some compensation (not from host), but less than expected. The property did not meet safety standards, due to unprotected electrical cables in 2 places. The whole building looked like it was about to collapse soon.

You are right in the center of Palermo..everything was close. If you are a spoiled centralheating brat don t come in winter. I ll come next time in town.

The location was fantastic! Just a 1 minute walk and your on a market street, also really close to bus stops and so much entertainment really close by. The floor was stone in the room which was really cool and we felt very safe in the building due to two codes needed to get in and a strong double lock on a metal door.

The bed frame was broken, host told us she would fix it and never did so we had to sleep on the floor. There were ants and cockroaches, especially around the kitchen area. Parts oth the kitchen were broken. The shower head isn't on right so it was to balance against the wall.

The apartment is rented as whole, it is pretty spacey, with good placement in the city centre. It was easy to communicate with the host.

Water pressure in shower was low and we had a small problem with ants - we left some baked goods on kitchen counter overnight and we woke up to a small ant invasion 😅

The location was perfect and the house was fresh, spacious and clean!

Our check-in was a disaster. The host decided to send 3 videos using whatsapp without any heads up via booking. Not knowing the person sending me the videos, I blocked the contact without looking at them. On the morning of our arrival, I sent a message via booking confirming our time of arrival (4 pm) - no reply. Upon arrival, we waited for 3 hours on the street until we managed to enter. During these 3h, I sent many texts to the host and received no reply. The situation was only solved when I contacted booking directly. They managed to speak with the host: it turns out the videos explained how to access the appartment...

The location was great. The coffee machine and coffee were great and really nice to have. There's a courtyard in front of the apartment and there's no city noise. It's very spacious.

The bathroom smelled and because the property probably wasn't used in winter it smelled of mold. We didn't have natural light because the garage doors were down and they were covering the only window the apartment had. The sitting set that was in the courtyard was not used so it was not clean and ready for use. The bed is not comfortable because it has a lump in the middle.

In the center... spacious apartment. The pressure of the shower needs a check up. Nothing to disturbing, but it's hard to get the shampoo off.

The flat is very spacious and it's located in the heart of the city, at walking distance from most of the main sights and close to two of the main streets crossing the city. Everything was clean and in good conditions, including the bathroom. Kitchen is equipped with a large fridge and a full stove so cooking or storing food is not a problem. It's locate inside an inner yard and a bit far from the street so the place is pretty silent at night. The main bed was comfortable. The host is also very responsive: arranging meetings for the checkin and the checkout was easy.

Unfortunately I was disappointed as the flat was advertised as having two separate bedrooms with two beds, plus a bed-sofa. That was one of the reasons for me to book the place as I was traveling with a friend. But upon arrival, I discovered one of the beds (located in the alcove above the kitchen) has been removed from the flat and wasn't available at all. The host was at least responsive and asked the cleaning person to move and re-arrange the sofa bed with new blankets. But the page in Booking.com should be at least updated. Please note the flat is actually an old garage and there is no heating in winter, except for some hot air from AR unit. Luckily Palermo is not a very cold city and blankets were enough for the night. The flat is quite bare-bone and some extra details would improve it a lot (like a proper wardrobe, a kettle or some extra decorations). Shower is also a bit uncomfortable due to small size.
