The Hideaway Cabin

A beautiful caravan on a lovely site in a great location. The perfect base to explore the area. The caravan itself is perfect and included everything we needed including toiletries and towels, and all the thoughtful touches made it an adorable little home from home. I can't recommend Hideaway Cabin highly enough

Beautiful little touches and spotlessly clean

Lovely clean place with all you need for your stay. The bed was so so comfortable. It was dog friendly. There were towels, tea towels etc, plenty of toilet roll, an air fryer and coffee machine. Two a bathrooms (though I stayed on my own!). It was a lovely place on a lovely site.

The road to the caravan site was horrible- narrow and a bit hazardous to walk and not always easy to drive at busy times. A bit of building work going on and traffic noise in the distance but it did not bother me. But that is beyond the host’s control.

"A very nice, modern, and fully equipped mobile home. Plenty of recommendations on where to go and what to visit. The owners were very accommodating—you can see and feel from the atmosphere that they genuinely care. We really enjoyed our stay.

Was lovely and clean and had everything you needed

Communication from Leigh was first class; quick and easy and very forthcoming. Arrival information was 5 star and made it all very easy for us. Lovely to arrive to some Christmas decorations and all the every day supplies including tea, coffee, condiments etc. Also tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet rolls etc WiFi absolutely excellent and free.

The property wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival which was shocking and disappointing. The fridge hadn’t been wiped out and had old crumbs and food debris etc on the shelves. The kitchen sink wasn’t clean with lumps of vegetables left there under the washing up bowl and the air fryer was dirty. One of the showers hadn’t been cleaned. The freezer was full of personal items so not available for use by guests staying which is also the case for most of the cupboards and storage areas.
