Gerards Home stay Fortkochi

I had the best time with Valsala and Gerard ! They are so welcoming, helpfull, with such a good heart. I wish I could stay longer with them. Their house is well located, in a quiet street, with trees, and a balcony. Everything is clean, bed is confortable, filtered water and fridge are available. Valsala offered me massala chai every morning, Gerard helped me to book my train ticket. Next time i’ll come to Kerala i will surely pass by to say hello ! Thanks for everything 🙏🏼 Namaskaram

Comfortable homestay with balcony and view onto garden. Good central location yet quiet. Very welcoming family who do their utmost to make your stay comfortable. Recommend!

We arrived really tired after the trip to India, and Gerard organised a TukTuk tour for us and got us tickets for the Kathakali performance that evening. He had good recommendations, and helped us make the most out of our short stay

We loved our stay at Gerard and Valsa's. Their genuine warmth and hospitality provided the perfect introduction to our time in Kerala. The room was comfortable (including with the extra bed for our young son) and everything is spotlessly clean. The hot water is very reliable, the shared kitchen was useful for reheating food and filling water bottles and there is even a sofa in the shared living space for relaxing. The terrace and garden were an oasis of calm. The homestay is about 15 minute walk from lots of great cafés and restaurants. Gerard and Valsa went above and beyond to make our family feel at home and we had such a special stay.

The hosts were very friendly, helpfull and kind. It was superb to stay with them. A very good homestay and location. I will recommend this place. Thank you mister Gerard.

They went out of their way to help us recover lost possessions which we were so grateful for. The hosts are always on hand to provide assistance and recommendations. We cannot recommend this place enough, what a beautiful home and beautiful kind hearted hosts. 10/10, we will definitely come back.

We liked everything!

Joyson was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my early morning arrival and departure. He provided invaluable travel tips, including navigating public transport and planning must-visit places in Kochi and broader Kerala. Their homestay was spotless and meticulously maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the chats and genuine hospitality.

Enhancing the kitchen facilities with more utensils and appliances would make it easier for guests to prepare simple meals. But overall, the stay was perfect, and these small improvements could make it even better!

Gerard's Homestay was a home away from home. Joyson and Valsa are incredibly friendly and generous with their advice on how best to spend your time in Kochi. The home itself is in a fantastic location! Very close to the fort, restaurants, cafes, bars, and ferry. You can also walk to Jew Town in 30 mins if you like. My room was comfortable, clean, hot water and AC. The Gerard's provided drinking water every day, and the kitchenette had all the basics you need to make a hit drink or light snack I wish I stayed longer at Gerard's. I HIGHLY recommend it!
