Cradle Mount Hotel

Great breakfast. The ambience was peaceful and quiet. Although the hotel was not full, the staff still gave us a 5 star treatment with the exception of receptionist who did the booking in on Friday night.

The reception and receptionist was not the friendliest on Friday night when we booked in. If it were not for this , I would have rated the whole experience a 10.

Everything, room clean, receptionist friendly, welcoming and helpfu, breakfast clean and fresh

I still think you are bit over priced. The same amount you charge big hotels with a nice variety of buffet breakfast, charge the same amount and even lesser. I strongly feel you are are way over priced for your location and what you offer.

The breakfast was good, the staff were very nice and friendly.

I don’t think it’s value for money. The hotel did not really meet expectations.

Didn't include breakfast and the receptionist kept on asking us to pay for breakfast it was irritating as if we would go eat what we didn't pay for

Receptionist should improve her bad attitude and our room had no water no kettle and bath tub was dirty The cleaning staff ladies were excellent

It was close to the wedding venue we were going to & security wasn’t bad.

The beds are so uncomfortable, the rooms weren’t properly cleaned, not worth the price we paid for.

I recently stayed at this establishment, drawn in by its five-star promise and stunning location. The scenery truly is breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations, and I left deeply disappointed.

From the start, there were major issues with my booking. I was initially given a back room with no view, I booked a different Room . When I complained, I was moved to another room, but even then, things did not improve. Shockingly, multiple people were trying to enter the room between 24:00 pm and early hours of the evening . Thankfully, I had the latch on, but this serious security breach left me feeling unsafe. Adding to the chaos, the staff blamed the receptionist for not blocking out rooms due to availability because of a wedding the next day. This was completely unprofessional. Ree the receptionist, who was clearly on edge, was the only bright spot—doing her best to assist despite being under immense pressure. Dinner was another low point. While Candise the chef made an effort to accommodate my meal . Basic items like a salad were out of stock, and the managers, dressed casually in slippers, gave the impression of a poorly run operation rather than a luxury establishment. After reading other reviews, it’s clear my experience wasn’t an isolated case. Many guests have faced similar or worse problems, including poor service, hygiene issues, and security concerns, which is alarming for a place marketed as five-star. For the price charged, this place is a big NO NO. The stunning scenery and efforts of a few staff members cannot make up for the lack of professionalism, organization, and basic hospitality standards. Significant improvements are urgently needed, from staff training to security measures, before this establishment can truly deliver the premium experience it promises. This version incorporates all your experiences, from the room issues and blame-shifting to the overall lack of professionalism, while highlighting the positives of the receptionist and chef’s efforts. It provides a fair but firm critique.

The security system was good.

When I did my bookings, I indicated that I needed a room with a balcony and garden view, but when I checked in, I  was given a completely different room. Ant nests were found in the room, and it was not thoroughly cleaned. There was no dustbin in the room.
