GBGBThis was a lovely, well equipped little house. It had a microwave/grill, air fryer, toaster, kettle and fridge. Plenty for a weekend trip. The layout was great with the bedroom upstairs and location was great being 10mins away from castle Douglas. Bathroom area was a perfect size too! We loved the hot tub being included. Beautiful views as soon as you look out the windows. The local pub needs to be visited, staff were lovely and so was the food. Well worth the money.
If you were to invest more to the place then I’d say more privacy around the hot tub, maybe extend the fence higher or some fake hedge attached to the fence (maybe a gazebo or parasol incase of bad weather but it didn’t stop us using hot tub) Please don’t see this as negative just giving our opinion on what would make the place even better.
GBReally quiet rural location which was perfect as we were trying to escape fireworks for our dog! Very friendly host, and a truly dog-friendly property. The little oil burner was a lovely touch. Kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. Overall an excellent venue and we had a fantastic stay for a great price!
The bed was the only thing we could say anything negative about- we found it quite uncomfy as it moved and creaked quite a lot whenever we moved. It in no way spoiled the stay, but it’s the only thing we could see to improve.

GBThe property was decent enough for our requirements. The owner was very helpful when there was a problem with the WiFi.
We didn't like the concrete floor, this made the property feel cold not cosy. Only one electric heater for the whole unit meant that it was on for long periods.
