Batur Exotic Villa

- Great Staff - very helpful, mindful and nice. They were checking on me via text messages to make sure that I am okay. They even let me check in at ridiculous hour - 4.45am - Beautiful location. Sunrise from my bedroom was magnificent. I really enjoyed watching sunrises at the lake Batur from my bed. But it might be difficult to walk there sometimes. My first taxi driver didn’t want to ride up the hill. So O had to walk up the steep hill with my heavy backpack in the middle of the night. Not their fault though! Local taxi drivers did not have that problem. Just something to be aware of. - Big and bright room. The building looks new. Everything is nice and clean. There is a lot of light in the bedroom through the big windows. The bedroom looks like in their pictures. - Breakfast was served always on time. Overall I enjoyed my stay there. I don’t remember when the last time I felt so safe as a female solo traveler. I didn’t even had to lock my doors ! I know I will be back there next year !

Clean and comfortable rooms with excellent view for sunrise. The people are really nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. They offered me the Mount Batur hike for 300k, but I didn’t do it because of the weather.

The way up there can be heavy when it’s raining. Would recommend to arrive there with scooter or motorcycle

Little bit hard to find and get to

The hotel was very modern as it has been newly built. The room was huge and had a nice comfy bed as well as a great shower with plenty of hot water. The owner was also great as they made me a nice breakfast every morning, as well as organised my guide for the mountain and my transportation to the ferry port. The location was convenient for me as I wanted to hike up Mount Batur.

There was some construction work going on as they were building a pool. However, the owner let me use the pool at the sister hotel, which was nice.

We loved our stay in the villa. It is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a beautiful view and lots of natural light entering the room whenever we wanted it. Breakfast was delicious and the owner is very professional and friendly. He also helped us calling a taxi. We also went up to Mt Batur with a guide from the villa and she is amazing, super knowledgeable and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.
