The Attic

The space, comfort, kitchen facilities, "free rein" to come and go.

Sight unease about parking restrictions leaving me to park outside a neighbouring house.

Accessible and good location for nearby nearby towns and countryside. Room is immaculately clean comfortable and very well equipped. Feels very private despite being upstairs from hosts who are very amenable.

Of course, an attic bedroom and bigger or taller person perfect for us.

The attic is accommodation only and is still catering. There was a very adequate supply of devices in the kitchen and also the towels were in great condition. The Attic has been very well designed to make the most of the roof space and although the bathroom is rather cramped there is an excellent shower. The theme of the Attic of Highland cattle is in keeping with the scheme of the more modern odds of the facility and the sofa and armchair make the sitting area very comfortable.

It was very difficult to locate the property as it was hard believe that there would be an attic in the roof of the bungalow from which it has been developed. Last, I visited cotton properties nearby which obviously did have attics before I eventually found the right building. Some more detailed description of how to find the building would be extremely helpful.

So brilliantly equipped. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchenette, including a nespresso machine. Lovely little touches everywhere. Very comfortable, spacious and modern. Loved it!

Nothing

It was a hot few days and the attic is on the warm side but the fan supplied and opening windows made it very comfortable.

The facilities were excellent, the rooms had everything you needed and it was exceptionally clean,,first class equipment. The hosts friendly .no problems getting to, or in the property. Good value too!

A little noisy from the main road, but that's unavoidable, with being so near to Buxton etc ,so acceptable and does not stop us from staying there again

Location was perfect for the purpose of my trip

It was a lovely room, with everything I needed. Close to the area of the peak district that I wanted to visit. The owners kindly provided milk tea and coffee for me, which was much appreciated.

Overall a great stay, thank you! Very nice bedroom, comfortable bed, dining table, good size, well-equipped kitchenette, very good value for money overall. Quiet area. Safe parking on private road, although my allocated space wasn’t always available (beyond hosts’ control).

Very “hands-off” host, won’t suit everyone, attentive enough when there were issues with the water supply (beyond hosts’ control); No breakfast - (but well equiped kitchen in room for self catering) Window beside the bed needs cleaning (inside the frame that collects dirt and bugs!)

Loved everything about this. Perfect location, great size, very very comfortable
