Beautiful Spacious Beach Home Newly Renovated

Beautifully decorated and furnished. Location/ close to the beach. Homely. Contained everything we needed. Lovely welcome package.

Advertised as dog friendly, but is it? Received information from the host a few days prior to our stay, saying no dogs upstairs, no dogs on furniture, no where for dogs to toilet. There was actually no secure area to isolate a dog away from furniture, which led to constant policing and overseeing, not terribly relaxing. A house is either dog friendly or not, in this case I feel not. Then received a message from the host on the Sunday saying that it had been brought to her attention that we had a dog with us, demanding an extra £100 be paid by the end of the day. She was told up front that we were bringing our dog, we have evidence of that, yet she chased for this. We then also felt that we were being watched, maybe on the ring door bells front and back, or a neighbour relaying information. Either way it made us feel uncomfortable. We had some amazing family time and wonderful celebration of a special birthday but due to the above came away feeling a little deflated.

This property is a real gem, it could not be better equipped, furnished or located for a trip to the seaside - simply, a gem !

Huge amount of space that even 7 people had plenty of room to be together and apart. The kitchen was superbly equipped and more than adequately accommodated a full on Christmas lunch. Just 2 minutes from the beach meant that the dog’s were well exercised and the friendly pub on the corner added to the experience. Amanda, the host, was always responsive and there is no doubt that we will host many more family events at the property.

There is nothing that we could find fault with. The property was even nicely decorated for Christmas and the welcome baskets were a lovely touch.

Lovely house, exceeded expectations from all that stayed. The house was spotless all the way through. The kitchen was nice and big when it came to both storing food and drink and for eating in. 10 guests stayed and we all got comfortably in the house. The living room was also very nice with plenty of space to fit us all in and chill. I believe we might have got lucky for parking considering the location but we managed to get 3 car parking spots directly out the front of the house.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We were fully catered for. Breakfast essentials were provided and everything was fresh! We didn't have to think about sorting things for breakfast everyone had an option that suited them. All my guests and myself truly enjoyed the house and the rooms. Amanda was wonderful!

The house was great - very clean and comfortable. Thank you for the welcome basket too. Everything made us feel special.
