The Oldschool House Cottage

The lock box was fab for getting keys, easy and no hassle atall. The location is absolutely stunning, the cottage itself is cosy, comfortable and really lovely. It feels warm and welcoming. The booklet with info in was really helpful, and I really liked the little touches like little notes and milk and biscuits left for us. Really appreciated everything

The shower is very very small and not very easy as you can’t move the shower head as the note states it would leak. It’s a beautiful property and that’s the only thing I’d comment on, just solely the shower isn’t very easy to use because it is so small. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

Spotlessly clean accommodation, everything we needed was provided and the house is conveniently situated for access to Fort William centre which is about 2 miles away.

A nice, cozy apartment. Completely equipped with kitchen and utensils. Comfortable location.

The only thing missing was a dishwasher and tumble dryer. The bedroom did not have black out curtains. As the days were very long in june, black out curtains were very much required.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage, and I must say, the experience was delightful. Location: The location of the property was perfect. It offered a serene and picturesque environment, providing a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Check-in Process: The convenience of retrieving the keys from a key box was a major plus. Knowing the keys were available anytime upon our arrival took away any stress related to check-in times. It made our arrival smooth and hassle-free. The Cottage: This lovely cottage was incredibly cute and meticulously clean. Every corner of the space was thoughtfully arranged and well-maintained, giving it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Amenities: The thoughtful touches truly made a difference. Finding a fridge stocked with milk, along with coffee and tea, was a pleasant surprise. The inclusion of a biscuit added a sweet touch to our stay, making us feel very welcome. Thank you for providing such a delightful experience. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming place to stay.

While my stay at the cottage was mostly delightful, there were a couple of drawbacks that I feel are worth mentioning. Shower Size: The shower was quite small. For larger individuals, it can be a tight fit, which might make showering a bit uncomfortable. TV Sound: Another minor issue was the TV sound, which was set to 7 bars. This volume level might be too low for some guests to comfortably hear the news or enjoy their favorite shows. These points aside, the cottage still provided a charming and pleasant experience.

Great location for exploring Ben nevis, and the view out the window was absolutely spectacular.

Property is a little dated and probably needs a bit of a refresh, the sofa wasn't particularly comfortable. But it was fine as we were only staying a couple of nights

The Cottage is in a quiet area. We parked our car at the front of the cottage in a dedicated spot. We loved looking at Ben Nevis from the lounge room window. The Cottage was very clean and snug. We appreciated the washing machine.

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with lovely outdoor space. Really appreciated the milk in the fridge, biscuits and basics of tea, coffee etc. Great location, felt very welcome - excellent property. Would recommend and we would certainly return.
