The Dunes

Excellent parking facilities. The receptionist was a joy; if only they could all be like her. The barman was smart, friendly and very polite. The room was immaculate and the beverages offered plenty of choice. The breakfast was brilliant, full of flavour and presented with some passion plus a huge pot of hot tea thus we didn't need to ask for more....couldn't fault it.

Nothing really, it was all good. No complaints.

Location and staff. The room was very clean

A broken window. Curtains wouldn’t shut in the bedroom, and the worst coffee ever just watery and no flavour to it. Serving decaf coffee because the machine was broken but not letting us know until we complained about the quality of it. A writing pad in the room but no pen.

Cleanliness, great staff and comfortable bed. Very convenient for town and beach yet in quiet location.

Would have preferred room with balcony (rooms 1 to 5). Need to book earlier next time!

Excellent location, large rooms, the staff were all exceptional, breakfast is really good, loads of parking, nice walk into town. Caroline on reception is just wonderful and breakfast was so enjoyable, really tasty. Nice to be out of the (at times) busy town centre, just a 10 min walk along a path and coastal path.

Genuinely, our only negative point is that the room was so hot (for us). We selected a room without a balcony which did have windows but they do not open fully and we were protected from the wind on the side of the building so there was not much air flow. Next time we will get a balcony room as it would have made a huge difference.

The room was lovely, clean and spacious, bed was incredibly comfy and probably one of the best nights sleep ive had away from home in a while Staff onsite were also lovely, very friendly, inparticular the receptionist who booked me in

We loved this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from Sue on Reception to all the restaurant/bar/housekeeping staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and beautiful with a great view. There was an excellent breakfast with plenty of it. We would highly recommend The Dunes and will definitely return.
