Wonderful hosts and an incredible building. Biggest bedroom ever! And stunning views and grounds.

For us it was perfect so no dislikes!

It is the most AMAZING country house to stay in. Utterly charming. Even say in a room with a beautiful open fire in June… atmospheric, but with the windows open. The breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms just amazing, hosts just SO down to earth. Would we stay again??? Yes please

So we booked this beautiful manor house we booked the master en suite, the room was immaculate both hosts were really the hosts were lovely and respectable the made us feel so at home, please pre book a taxi if you want to go out as the waiting time was very long, so much so the host offer us a lift into Louth which was lovely of him didn't expect that at all was a lovely gesture, due to it being a quiet period we had the manor house to ourselves which was just simply bliss ,the host lit the open fire for us and set a beautiful atmosphere, we went up to the stables on site as they have horses which were so friendly, the views in and around the manor are breathtaking definitely downton Abbey feel the decor waa maticulously restored to original form. Will definitely be coming back highly recommended, the manor house is a credit to owners and the area keeping it's historic features throughout the manor.

This was the best little getaway my husband and I have had. We only stayed for one night, but would do two or more next time. The manor is beautiful and is being lovingly restored. The surroundings are picturesque and we had lovely walks during our stay, helping us relax & unwind. Our hosts couldn’t do enough for us; we received such a warm welcome and they were so lovely to chat to. Our breakfast was incredible (vegetarian and vegan). We will definitely be staying again.

My wife and I stayed for one night, booked at short notice. We both agree it was the nicest place we’ve stayed in..just wish we could’ve stayed longer! The grounds and setting are perfect and the house is decorated beautifully throughout. If you like period homes you will LOVE it here! Martyn and Julie were so accommodating and friendly, we were basically given freedom of all areas as we were the only guests. We really enjoyed chatting with Julie who also made a delicious breakfast for us in the morning, with so much to choose from. We really hope we get to visit again :)

breakfast is cooked to order, fresh local products, generous portions. topped up with great service, can not fault a single thing. continental breakfast and fresh fruit is also available. the rooms and the public areas recently refurbished to very high standards

Lovely old building all done exceptionally well with high standard and quirky furnishings. Excellent sized room. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Nice peaceful location.

Signposting to the property could be better. Booking.com app would have taken us on a track suitable for a 4x4 and the directions on the property's website didn't display properly on a mobile phone. Website could have been clearer that "private bathroom" means not ensuite and making my way along an unlit landing in the early hours wasn't ideal.

We loved the house and location and the host was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious 😋

The room was cold on arrival which meant we didn't want to sit in there. It had warmed up by the time we returned from Louth in the evening. We would have also preferred to have tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Beautifully kept and furnished, felt like you were in Downton Abbey! Hosts so welcoming, lovely place to relax and unwind in amazing countryside. Close to Louth for restaurants etc.
