Beautiful house and location. Very helpful and welcoming, the house is full of charm from a different age, there was a good cooked breakfast. Lovely people, very helpful can't speak highly enough of our stay. I hope we will be back one day.

"Just perfect."

10.0

All I can say is 'wow'!!! North Ormsby Manor is beautiful. It's 'full' of character & history & it's in a beautiful location. So quiet with lots of wildlife. It's just idyllic. Our hosts, Julie & Martin, were so lovely. Julie was there when we arrived & she showed us around & introduced us to Martin. He was really busy so we didn't expect him to stay around long. Downstairs is the dining room, which has all the drinks & nibbles you could want & they're available anytime of the day. The garden room looks straight out into the lovely gardens, massive by the way, & you can see the horses in the far field. The entrance hall was really impressive & definitely deserves a good look round! & there's a lovely family room/sitting room which again, you can use at anytime. Oh, & there's also a downstairs loo! Once we'd had a look round downstairs we went upstairs to our room. It was just perfect. Again full of character and history. The bed was so comfy. I suffer with a bad back & it didn't hurt at all, all night. Just so you know, there's no tvs in the bedrooms but there's the family room downstairs which you can use to watch tv if you want. The bathroom was lovely with it's roll top bath & complimentary toiletries. Breakfast on Sunday morning was amazing. It's a buffet breakfast & there was so much food you definitely won't go hungry. & I'm sure if you wanted something abit different Julie would get it for you. As there's only 3 bedroom's to book there's only ever 6 guests so it's not noisy or crowded which is perfect for us. While we were there we didn't really see either of our hosts, apart from Sat evening when we walked round to see the horses & Julie was there as she'd been feeding them. But we knew that if we needed or wanted anything we only had to ask.

There's nothing we didn't like.

Very attentive hosts, available yet not in the way. It's the best escape from the bustle of busy lives. tranquil nights with no noise or light pollution. If you love walking, trekking or running this place is for you. Excellent period decor throughout the house. Highly recommended.
