Die Zimmer zur Straße sind leider sehr laut .

Beautifully appointed, quiet boutique hotel in central Trieste, located between the train and bus station and the main town square, Piazza dell Unita d'Italia, both an easy walk. Our room was gorgeous, very comfortable bed, deluxe bathroom with 2 sinks, super shower, nice toiletries, slippers. Excellent breakfast options, friendly, very helpful staff who know the city and can make restaurant reservations. We'll be back!

Everything about the property was perfect from check in to check out. I do regret not going for b&b as the breakfast looked incredible

Absolutely beautiful room, big bed, lots of space in the room, large bathroom and shower, double sinks, good air conditioning. Excellent value.

Check in instructions would have been helpful. I stood on the road for 10 minutes not knowing how to enter the building, with no phone number to call and no response to my message in Booking. It is not intuitive to press the button on the wall because it looks like a piece of hardware on the sign - it is actually a call button that unlocks the door but I did not know this. I saw a delivery driver make the same mistake so it must be common confusion. Also, the bed is extremely firm, in fact you could call it hard. I slept fine but my husband slept poorly.

The hotel is perfectly located and a wonderful place to stay. The staff were welcoming and very helpful with where to go and what to do. We opted for the breakfast, which was beautifully plated!

Das Hotel ist modern und "schick" eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war schön groß. Insgesamt ist es im Hotel recht dunkel, das ist nicht ganz so schön, aber ok. Check-In und Kommunikation waren super freundlich. Wir bekamen zur Begrüßung ein Getränk - das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam. Auch hat uns der Rezeptionist am 2. Abend noch einen Cocktail gemischt - super Service an der Stelle. Der Wein war qualitativ auch sehr gut und lecker.

WLAN war eher schwierig, nur sehr langsam. Insgesamt spreche ich bei "hat gefallen" von "schick" - meint, dass es nicht unbedingt praktisch ist. Ich liebe schönes Design, aber es darf auch praktisch sein. z.B. die Minibar hängt recht hoch an der Wand?? und die Haken im Bad sind nicht so wirklich für große Handtücher geeignet - sind mehr als Deko zu sehen. Was ich wirklich schlecht fand, den Instant Kaffee von Illy. In der Stadt des Cafes wäre eine kleine Maschine mit Tabs wirklich wünschenswert. Bei der Nutzung des Wasserkochers muss man gut aufpassen, damit man sich beim Einschenken nicht am heißen Dampf verbrennt - der Wasserkocher sollte evtl. ein Designstück von Smeg sein - da passiert so was nicht.
