Neap Tide

The interior is very nicely decorated, beds were comfotable, 3 bedroms so you could stay with a whole family. The master bedroom has it's own shower and lavatory. One big bathroom with a bath and a window. Large living room, with kitchen and view on the cute little garden. We were positively surprised.

Bright, airy and enough room for everyone. Loved the decor/dining table and seating areas/kitchen, great showers. Having the garden to escape and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee looking at all things green (not a tall or ugly building in sight) was ahhhh, uplifting. The location was so easy from the train station (used public transport from London) and five minutes walk away from the heart of historic Rye. I used suggestions from the kitchen board to have a fabulous brunch at The White House. The wall poster with the map of Rye in the kitchen was really helpful to get my bearings (I get lost everywhere). Hosts Claudia and Tim were great too; communicative, friendly, Forgiving! (we caused some damage to the basin in downstairs loo on last night when the glass hand wash bottle on edge slipped into the sink in freak accident and cracked it! Absolutely Mortified.

Nothing not to like. A second (smaller) frying pan would be really helpful when feeding lots of mouths. Despite the house being on a fairly busy road, it is set back and I barely noticed the traffic. Keep those blinds shut though when you’re changing!!😁

Wonderful location in the centre of Rye. Large house and very clean and well equipped. Cloakroom downstairs, and a double room en suite and another family bathroom. You can park outside the house if there are spaces, if not there is a car park opposite for £5 a day.

the layout was perfect in terms of the lounge the dining table and the kitchen. even the garden was ideal for sitting in and enjoying our coffee in the sun.

not a big problem but seating for watching TV was limited for comfort as a group but we made it comfortable individually

Location was great, we were lucky enough to get free parking most days, but parking in the car park 50 yards away is only £5 for 24hrs anyway. Beds are really comfy, showers are really powerful, and the kitchen had great facilities.

Maybe curtains to keep the early light out a little bit in the mornings (travelled with toddler) but that is nitpicking.

Clean and comfortable

Neap Tide is a fabulous, spacious and beautifully furnished home. The kitchen is fully equipped and a joy to cook in. It overlooks a pretty garden - and has a windmill in the distance! The lounge is so comfy with a large L-shaped sofa, great tv and a dining table that can easily seat 6/8 people. The master ensuite bedroom is luxurious, and both showers are really powerful & there's a really handy downstairs loo. We all slept so well. There is no road noise and the house is a few minutes walk from a path to the Cinque Port of Winchelsea. The centre of Rye is a very short walk away with everything we needed on the doorstep. We had the most wonderful stay!

Wonderful property in the heart of Rye. The layout was ideal and each room was nicely done. all the amenities you’ll ever need and more. All topped by great owners. Will definitely be back.
