Field Hut

We love the tranquility of the surrounding area....the sheep in the neighbouring field, watching the sun rise in the morning and being mesmerized by the stars at night

Would have liked Cushions !

It was in beautiful countryside and felt very chilled.

Really well thought out and cute, with lots of lovely details like the sofa overlooking the view and facilities to cook outside. I liked being next to the sheep and it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. The bed was incredibly comfy and it was a great location.

I found the outside toilet a little ‘icky’ to use. It’s a great concept and I do appreciate it being eco friendly, but it’s not for me! Especially if I needed the bathroom in the middle of the night! The shower was also quite small and so taller people may find it difficult.

Shepherds Hut was beautifully set up with its own private garden at the edge of a field. Really peaceful. Separate kitchen and bathroom with good shower. Nb this property is ‘off grid’ so don’t expect electricity and there is a well maintained compost toilet. Owner nearby and helpful when contacted by text.

There are 2 separate properties, a shepherds hut where we stayed and a Field Hut. However Booking.com jumbles these together on the listing and so we initially went to the wrong property.
