Urban City Center Apartment

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The parking was a little difficult, however but our host did send us all the information we needed where to park but since we didn't have wifi in our rental we didn't receive it. Our host sent us information about where and how to book sites to see. He went above and beyond to help us to enjoy Split and all it had to offer. We would have loved to have met our wonderful and caring host but our time did not permit it. If you are looking for a cute two bedroom apartment in the heart of Split this is the place. We loved it. We travelled throughout Croatia and this apartment and the host we would recommed to anyone who wants to have a pleasant stay in Split.

The apartment was clean and well located. The apartment is small but everything was arranged to maximize the space. It’s cute and cozy. The bed in the bigger bedroom was comfortable. Tomislav was responsive and provided us instructions which made the check-in process easy. He provided us different parking options since parking is hard to find in the area. The free parking outside the building was unfortunately busy the entire time we were there. We also liked that the apartment had a washer. One random thing that we also liked was the entrance door. It had a multipoint locking system and seemed really secure and sturdy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed Split.

The two twin beds were squeaky so whenever one person moved in their bed, it would wake up the other. The twin beds were also firmer than we like.

Very nice apartment. Small, but perfectly distributed. The beds are comfortable, kitchen well-equipted with all you need. Bathroom very nice, with a great shower. It is just 5min walking distance to the entrance at the city center. Everything is walking distance. Communication with Tomislav was very efficient and helpful. If you bring a car, there is a public parking lot just opposite the apartment.

Excellent location, easy access and walking distance to all restaurants and attractions. The facade of the building look very run down but once you step into the apartment, the whole env was so different. The place was so cosy and fully equipped.

Check in was super easy. Even though the apartment is in the basement you have big windows and enough daylight which is a big plus. The apartment is very quiet even though it's in the city center. Perfect grocery shopping opportunities nearby (fresh produce market and supermarket). Parking was a bit of a hazzle - even though the parking spaces in front of the building are free, they were always occupied when we needed to park end we ended up having to pay for parking on the street (price was ok though). As we did use the apartment a lot for cooking we were missing some minor things in the kitchen like an extra dish towel and a towel for the hands - it was also a bit weird that the tabs for the dishwasher were counted for the duration of the stay, we had to wash quite a few dishes by hand.
