HOTEL ROYAL HAMEED

Location and infrastructure of the hotel suits to our interests. Staff is polite, soft spoken and eager to assist and cooperate. On the whole our stay in this hotel was marvelous. I would like to suggest others to stay in this hotel.

Non availability of lift leads to inconvenience to the aged and physically unfit person.

Worst hotel i ever stayed in. I booked a mountain facing room but by the time i arrived I received a different room which wasn’t mountain facing. THE WORST PLACE TO STAY IN SRINAGAR.

There were bloodstains on the bedsheet. Pillows had hair from previous customers probably. The sheets were dirty and not washed. There was frequent powercut. I wasn’t able to charge my phone as there was no power in the main socket(although lights were on). Foul odor in the room. Staff was not responsive at all. I had to frequently go down two flights of stairs to call them. The staff will demand you money at the end as tip. WORST. YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL. Only staff was good rest are worst and false information about amenities.No hot water,no electricity even mobile charging was also difficult.Everything depend on electricity here.

Not any good facilities.in 3 day stay we got only one day hot water for bath. False information about amenities.location is also not good. Worst experience.

Is it good but not facility in hotel everything good?

Excellent behaviour of staff. Stellar location overseeing the Dal Lake. You can see the sunrise if your room is facing the Lake. Bonus feature - You get an excellent, small dhaba and travel agency managed by hotel itself. Made our life very easy.

There were regular power outages in Srinagar. Be advised to keep your phones charged and Geyser powered on whenever possible.

Gov cuts electric thru the night

We got to stay in the new building.There wasn't any shortage for water and we got sufficient Hot water, Geyser was in good condition 😊

There weren't any room heater/power blankets, Chairs,Kettles available.later on our request they provided power blankets, chair and one kettle for 2 rooms😐. There weren't any cupboard for clothes.

Rooms were clean, nicely setup, colour schemes were nice and the overall vibe was very good. Location was very near the Dal lake, it is actually on the backside of dal lake with some dal lake part in front. We booked shikara from here and went to main dal lake in just 2 minutes in shikara. They also provide transportation services, I booked taxi from them to go to Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and ocal sightseeing in Srinagar and for Airport drop at very reasonable price, The staff was helpful and very humble. Intercom was available and food was reasonably priced and good, especially when we had maggi in late night with tea, it was amazing. Electric bedding was properly heating and Geysers in bathrooms were functional. At the end of our stay we wanted to stay one night in a houseboat, so the staff surprisingly knew a houseboat and got us a great deal in booking a good houseboat too. Very fast Free Wifi was also provided. One tip: online prepaid to postpaid converted sim from other states did not work in Srinagar, so we purchased a tourist sim card from a counter on Airport exit and took prepaid taxi from there to the hotel.
