The cabin was an amazing find, one of the highlights of the trip! Highly recommended!!! Amazing location in a forest (there are not many forests in Iceland!), next to a river. The owners were so helpful and pleasant and their home is just mind-blowing. LOVED the external shower with hot water.

Could be a bit more spacious.

Very cute, cosy cabin. We loved the outdoor shower and the location in the forest by the river. The hosts were lovely as well.

We had incredible staying in this holiday home, it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed for 1 night, but there everything you need for even longer staying. Apartment is clean and just in the middle of the nature, it is very quite, we slept well without any disturbing. We were satisfied with outdoor shower , despite cold weather it felt warm, amazing experience. If we have the chance we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Very romantic place.

nothing to complain about

The location was beautiful! Overall, a beautiful home and the nicest owners!

If it had been 2 of us, I think this would have been 5*. But our son was traveling with us and the couch bed was simply a flat bench with a seat padding. We removed the back cushions to give slightly more room. The bedroom isn't private, no door from the living area. And the shower. It wasn't bad temperature wise, which surprised us all, but we had to clean out several spiders and webs before we could shower. Just not super convenient to have it outside...but again, may not have cared as much if it were just the 2 of us!

The cabin was well thought out with everything you need when travelling. The outdoor shower is a really nice experience.
