It was very nice, clean room. Nice pool facing the rice fields. Staff were very friendly too

Couldn’t find the driveway to entrance

The surrounding area however was the end of it. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for accommodation. Long Story Short bedsheets had animal feaces and bugs, hotel refused to change sheets, rooms or refund, after I asked them to confirm in writing to booking.com as we had verbally agreed to change rooms for the night and refund for the remaining 9 nights. Long Story: The bedsheets had large fecal matter on it, unfortunately I didn't take a photo as I was trying to make the best of a bad situation. I requested for it to be changed however the new sheets had a spider and also more bird poop on it. The room also clearly hadn't been cleaned with white marks on the floor, bugs (maybe bed bugs) on the side of the bed and also toothpaste marks on mirror and cups in the bathroom. Bathtub and sink was also filthy. I spoke to booking.com requested a refund and wanting to move to another room to which they replied they will need to contact the venue. I spoke to the receptionist to which they agreed to give me another room for the night and a refund for 9 remaining nights and the difference in price from my room to this one. Perfect. However after I confirmed this with booking.com they said they need written confirmation from the hotel. I went out again to speak to the receptionist at this point the owner decided to intimidate me and said he is refusing a refund and also refusing the room change. He said he did not give a f word about reviews and I can post whatever I want because he already has the money and I can leave or do whatever I want. Later on I pleaded with the receptionist to honor the original agreement however she contacted the wife and they decided to walk through the room with me together as soon as we went in she swiped the spider off the bedsheets. All this time the wife was video taping me. I felt extremely uncomfortable. When I asked for the video she said no, you can take your own.... Continued....

.... they then tried to gaslight me and say all the bugs, the dirt and nature and I should have expected this when booking the place. They also refused to change the bedsheets because they changed it twice already for me and I am expecting too much. Apparently changing the bedsheets before I checked in counts as 1 time as well (and not common practise) At this point I really no longer felt safe as saying there as they clearly had no issues lying, intimidating and gaslighting their customers. On top of all of this they demanded to see my passport, while the wife was showing me her camera roll (I requested her to delete the video of me) I could see other guests passports on it. This made me extremely uncomfortable as this was her personal phone and not the villa's phone. I had checked in with my license as my passport was packed away for safety.... they confirmed this was ok as I wasn't allowed to be in the room without ID and I didn't want to unpack my bags on the floor. It was weird that they all of a sudden would demand my passport after I expressed dissatisfaction about leaving and wanting a refund I contacted booking.com to relay everything however they said there was nothing they can do. I am now out of pocket for a 10-night stay had to rush out of this place and book a last minute hotel. Further issues: The rooms have glass walls so anyone can see into the room, the lights in the common areas are on all night so it is very bright. Insects everywhere. Room door does not close properly and huge gaps to allow insects in. NO BOTTLED WATER, they give you tap water. Curtains are broken.

OK, we all know Ubud, it's busy, it's vibrant, and with all the traffic can be a lot. But if you want to experience all that and then go back to the most beautiful and calm place in the heart of it, you are on the right track with this place. It's absolutely stunning. No matter if you book the room in the upper part with the view of the emerald pool and a temple or the lower one with the amazingly long turquoise pool next to the rice fields, it's going to be an amazing experience. I met the nicest people there and had it all; relaxing time, socializing time, swimming time and a massage as well. Everything is possible there, and really I would recommend this place to everyone. If you have kids or are just a bunch of friends or a couple, there is something for everyone in the most awe-inspiring surroundings I have ever seen. Any chance I have, I will definitely go back. And yes, there is a kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, and a shared kitchen with everything you need. And on top of that, the most friendly and helpful people are working there. Truly just beautiful.

Pool access and field rice view were so great. It was stunning. The bathroom was good, stylist and big.

No breakfast. It was far from somewhere to get food and cook. It would be so great, if we could have some food with perfect view.

The staff is very kind, the place is beautiful. The have scooter rental too.

Unfortunately I think there are some clubs close to this place and in the night it is very noisy. Sometimes two people from the staff came with the same questions, I think there are some communication problems.

The property was as pictured so there were no surprises. The staff was amazingly professional and friendly. Everything was as expected or better.

Nothing negative to say about this property and I will return on my next visit.
