Layout , caravan and milk being left in fridge!

It smelt very strongly of dog throughout our stay . May have been from the hoover or just previous holiday maker. It was a strong smell all during our stay. There was no bread knife or shower mat, only 1 small bin bag no extras or cleaning spray ( was empty) the mirrors hadnt been cleaned and some cupboards, inside microwave and draws in kitchen had been missed. The extra comfy chair was great but very worn so bits of the leather were falling off all over the carpet when someone sat in it. The double bed was very short I'm only 5ft 6 and feet were hanging over the end ! OK value for money just a couple of niggles but would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and spacious. Private and peaceful. Excellent WiFi, all the comforts of home.

If I were to nit÷pick, weather was wet and humid. Could do with a dehumidifier to prevent dampness due to moisture in the air.

The caravan was clean and welcoming. Had some basic supplies. Bag of ice cubes in the freezer. Excellent storage throughout and good lighting. 2 toilets which was handy for my elderly nan and my disabled son. Very close to main restaurant and swimming pool. Guests can book the swimming pool. You need to show proof of booking and pay £1 to get a pass. Children under 16 need an adult with them. (No staff man the pool.) The restaurant has some provided entertainment, singers, bingo etc. Only 10 minutes away from main Hastings. Be aware the seafront parking is more expensive than the towns multi story car park. Good supply of disabled bays though. Amazing visiting the castle, smugglers adventures and learning about the history of Hastings. The beach is pebbled, not sand. Some great facilities along the front, crazy golf, chip shops and clean public toilets. The caravan had lovely assortment of books and leaflets of the local area, enjoyed looking at those. Good T.V and free WiFi which was a bonus! 😊 Lots of lovely trees surround the caravan so your not looked in by the neighbouring caravans.

The location of the caravan was not easy to find. Unfortunately the one way system is not very clear, do realise this is to do with the site though. After a long journey the last thing we wanted was to be driving round the site lost.😐 Parking is next to the caravan (when you find it) but on a steep hill, this could cause alot of stress and anxiety as its a tight spot. The shrubs need cutting back here to make it easier. You need to be a confident driver around the park. Driving out of the park you have to go up 3 steep hills. Some quite tight corners too. Would of been lovely to see the views and sunsets as promised on the caravan balcony if the shrubbery had been cut back. 😔 (picture shown) Shame the private garden area was full of torns and weeds. So much could be done there. Unfortunately couldn't get the main oven and microwave to work. The welcome pack was very vague on how to use the oven, the buttons are worn on it too. Had a short power cut which scared my son. Unfortunately no bathmat was included, my elderly nan was worried about slipping out the shower, so we used our own towel on the floor instead. Good if you like spiders, lots pop out to join you on your holiday too! 🕷

"Wasn’t as good as we was hoping."

Nothing

Wasn’t worth the money we paid could have been cleaned better, when beds was stripped before we left we noticed the pillows and quilts had stains. Outside of the caravan was filthy. Kitchen sink stunk of rotten eggs and was slightly blocked. There was no towels to shower with.

"Dog friendly. Not great if you don't have one."

Well equipped. Bathroom good. Location good. Lovely views.

The whole place stank of dogs. The carpet and upholstery need cleaning to get rid of this. The double bed was tiny and no good for anyone over about 5'10".

I loved how clean the carvan was and it had what we needed. It had some nice finishing touches.

I didn't like the staff they were not helpful, The pool is meant to be open at 9am on the Sunday it didn't open till 10:15/10:30, The park for children needs to be bigger, you could do with a slide swings anything else. Just make it more kid friendly. Nothing foe the younger ones. More equipment needed. The park is hard to get around there are not many signs to get you around the park. If you don't know where your going. We had to guess. You could do with more signs. Make the staff more aware of what things there are to do outside the park. The club house staff didn't know there way around the park when we asked them. This was not helpful as we drove a long way and was very tired. More entertainment during the day especially for the kids. All the entertainment was focused around adults. I understand it's holiday home park owners however there were lot of kids so would be nice to make them feel happier.
