Clean, modern, comfortable and wonderful view of the sea from the balcony. Perfect location for the beach!

We really loved the property, it was exactly what we were looking for. That said, the £400 breakage deposit felt a bit steep. While it’s refundable if there’s no damage, not everyone can easily put down that amount upfront.

The apartment location is great, just across from the seafront, close to bus routes and a nice shopping street and in a very pleasant area. There is plenty of space for 2 although it would be cosy for 4 should the weather limit outdoor activities. The flat is well equipped including very effective gas central heating (February visit!). The owners have listened to many past reviews and acted on negative comments.

As many have commented, the 3 parking spaces that were available to us and others are very small and often filled with 2 vehicles. Parking in the streets around the flat is possible and free, but maybe not as safe. There is a very nice Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and the owners have left a couple of pods. We did not see these pods available locally so used it just once. I would have preferred a coffee machine that used ground coffee. The deposit / damage waiver options are explained in full on booking.com, but I still do not like this approach to managing risks of damage to the property. I write this after checking my deposit has been returned in full within 5 working days of checking out.

The location was amazing with a really great view and we really liked to go for a walk in the morning by the beach and it was beautiful.

The beds weren’t that comfortable and the high chairs were hard to sit.

Excellent apartment in terms of accommodation, cleanliness and location.

Nothing really but I'd suggest a king size bed in the main bedroom

Location is wonderful. 2 min walk to beach, 10 minutes to Southbourne town with independent shops and restaurants. In Summer time there is a bus along the coast from outside the door. Balcony has beautiful view and comfy chairs. Comfy beds and sofa. Nice neff hide and slide oven! Massive tv. Great wifi. Dealt quickly and efficiently with a problem with the key. Great for 2 people. 2nd bedroom is small and walls very thin for 4 people who aren't very close! Tips: try baffi for pizza, makla for mezze, sobo beach for coffee. Walk to Hengistbury head, Bournemouth (7 bone burgers) Poole , sandbanks, etc, along front. They have water refill points long front so no need to carry lots. Beryl bikes are handy as is the bus along coast. Download apps before leaving apartment as mobile signal locally dodgy in places. Swanage is a nice day trip, worth paying to go on the pier. You can visit Corfe castle on the way. Nice arty shops and cafes. You don't really need to get in the car all week:) Move the car on a Monday if parked in the allocated spot as the bin men need to access cupboard that it blocks. Take slippers as tiled throughout Take eye mask as bright bedrooms Take milk and bin bags!

We like to play board games/ do puzzles, but the table was too high and uncomfortable for that. No practical info about the Southbourne area at the flat ( which is awesome), which would have been helpful. No guest book so people can trade tips ( see above!) Would have been great to include bin bags/ a pint of milk. Weirdly, no curtain rail in the main room? If you were short, you would struggle to hook up the curtain to close it.

The 3 designated car parking spaces were not big enough for 3 cars

The view from the sofa was to die for . Watching the boats travel by the main land and in to Poole harbour was great.
