Shakespeare's Nest

Excellent location, right in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. Great quirky flat in a listed building, loads of room to relax in, well appointed, excellent WiFi. Parking location was superb - and Free!!

Main bedroom mattress was very hard. Access to the property was up a very steep stair case which was slippery at the base.

The location right in the centre of Stratford could not be bettered and the adjacent free off-street parking was a real bonus. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the RSC theatre which is literally just around the corner. We liked the information and attention to detail by the owner, and the cleanliness of the inside on arrival. The availability of basics such as tea and coffee was also a really good touch. Wifi was very good in the front of the property but faded a bit in the bedroom. We were actually handed the keys on arrival but this was only because we were running early and the cleaner was running late. No matter, the key box is very simple to use and is just inside the gate by the parking area, details of key and wifi codes were provided just ahead of our arrival time. We really liked the ability to have access directly to the street by using the front door which is shared with a ladies clothing shop. Whilst the flat was cold when we arrived we were able to get the central heating working and it soon warmed up, although not complicated some instructions for how to do this would make it even quicker. The kitchen was generally well equipped and all electrical devices worked well, and looked fairly new. The bedroom was quiet and the bed comfy, we both slept well. The bathroom is a little cramped but there is an excellent electric shower which more than made up for the lack of space. The property was very clean and tidy on arrival. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonky cutlery and no bread knife. The steps up from the rear are quite slippery when wet, which they were throughout our stay, although the front access alleviates this slight issue.

Location is brilliant so close to all places of interest. In particular the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is only a stones throw away.

A kitchen table would be better than the existing shelf and stools.

Was dirty and in general was in poor repair and damp

Everything was fantastic. Designated parking at the rear at no extra cost, cozy bedroom, pretty living room with view of Sheep street, kitchen had everything we needed. A great wonderful property, in a great location.

Not easily accessible if you have mobility issues as rear of property has steep steps with small landing at door.

We like the facilities such as the kitchen, etc. and the location is good in the town centre.

Need to go up a small staircase and the toilet has a very tight space. The rest is ok.
