A lovely old house which, from the inside, balanced a traditional Japanese layout with updated amenities. Lots of interior space. There was also an intimate garden with a gentle stream

This was definitely the lowest value booking I've made on this site. It is a side business for a restaurant and staff were unavailable after the restaurant closed. They weren't prepared to receive us, and so our check in was delayed by an hour. The main table had only one chair. And the location was quite funky -- hard along a shopping street. All this would have been fine, though, if the price had adjusted for it.

Beautifully designed rooms. very comfortable, spacious, and super quiet. Totally recommended for couples looking to relax and enjoy the area. Izakaya opposite to the restaurant is a must
