The lodge

Excellent host, really nice and helpful.

The room was very nice. The room and bathroom need an update. It was slightly dusty but it was very nice and highly recommended it. 10/10.

Spotlessly clean and everything we needed was available.

Everything you would expect was accounted for, and extra. I forgot my charger at the airport (silly me), but I arrived to find some prepared. There are books, card games, a connected Netflix account and a mini fridge. Exceptional for the price <3

The room was clean, stylish and comfortable, and very well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There was a very pleasant walk into the centre of Bury St Edmunds from the Lodge.

We had an excellent stay at the Lodge.

The appartement was self contained and had little extras, such as biscuits, tea/ coffee etc... which was appreciated. Free parking. For my purpose the location was excellent. It also has a bit of a holiday feel to it. Once the kitchen is re-integrated into the accomodation, it will be a lovely little self contained apartement for single or a couple occupancy. Plenty of shops around, within short drive.

I feel that the window would benefit from some sort of privacy screen that still allows light. It was a matter of blinds down and sunlight out or no privacy at all. Also the curtains which hide view to the owners back garden, couldn't be opened, as no privacy either way.

Beautifully presented and very clean, nicely stocked with tea/coffee bar, and mini fridge, very comfortable bed, large TV, hairdryer, iron, kettle. Lovely, kind, friendly hosts.

Had a fabulous overnight stay to attend a course. Ana & hubby (Sorry, didn't get your name, my bad) were exceptionally welcoming. Couldn't have done enough for me. The Lodge had everything anyone could possibly need from croissants to fridged bottled water alongside fab selection of tea, coffees & biscuits, to an array of toiletries for showering/bath. Seating outside to enjoy the lovely evening. Parking. In time, there will even be a pool. I can't recommend this lovely couple enough. (I was limited due to a broken hand & Ana offered to drop me off in the morning if I had any problem getting a taxi. Although I secured one on my 4th call, I feel she was prepared to go above & and beyond. Thank you both for making my short stay so easy & fabulous.

Absolutely nothing! Well, perhaps the fact that I couldn't stay for another night! (And didn't get to meet the gorgeous Chow Chow - although the little cat visited me to say hello.)

The hosts had thought of everything you could've needed had you forgotten something for your stay, there were extra blankets if you needed them, all the facilities you could want, clean towels, loo roll and lots of tea and coffee making facilities as well as 2 bottles of water in a mini fridge and a few snacks should you get peckish.

The only thing i didn't like was the building development going on in the area, hardly the fault of the hosts though! having stayed on a weekend and arriving late afternoon, none of the building works were even active so it was lovely and quiet.
