Lovely quiet getaway, lots of amenities for the kids, the kitchen has all the cutlery and crockery required. The host was amazing and very helpful. The place is very clean and perfect for a quick family getaway.

The chalet has no microwave, it is self-catering so warming of food had to be done on a stove. There was no mention that the restaurant on site was not operational until we arrived, so we had to drive out about 20 mins away to get food. The gas geyser is either boiling hot or ice cold, kids were not able to shower as the temp was too hot. The basin is in an awkward position, makes it very difficult for adults to use.

Cozy, comfortable, clean accommodation. Unit equipped with necessities, 2 x double beds, 1 x bathroom (gas shower) kitchen with gas stove, fridge, kettle, smart tv. Good wifi connection. Braai facilities (fire pit) outside

The gas shower is a bit tricky to operate initially, particularly with adjusting the water temperature, which might require a bit of patience and trial-and-error to get it just right. The gas stove is outdated and of poor quality. Issues with its functionality, such as inconsistent flame control and difficulties in ignition. These problems made cooking less convenient, impacting our overall experience at the chalet.

The feeling of being in the bush was "out of this world". Loved the serenity of the reserve, waking up in such a peaceful environment was good for my spirit, for the mind. Coming from the traffic noise of Johannesburg and spending time "in die bos" was refreshing to the mind and body. The host made contact with us days before our arrival. That really made us feel special.

The atmosphere was amazing Other people or neighbours are friendly too ang greet. Our host Anita , wonderful inside and out . Very helpful Shout out to Anita I recommend her❤️
