Bietjie Bos Chalet

The location. Was nice and quiet. Enjoyed the walk to the river.

Was very difficult to get the shower water to the correct temperature. It's either cold or to hot. There is no sweet spot. The stairs to top room was to steep. Cannot get up properly and cannot get down properly.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful, quiet resort. The house had all we needed for our stay. They provided putters and golf balls for the putt putt and tennis racquets and balls for the tennis though we didn't play tennis. The hikes are picturesque and easy. Would like to visit again in summer to see what it looks like then and make use of the rock pools.

The staircase to upstairs is dangerous. They're very narrow and steep. The best view is from the upstairs balcony so you do need to go up, at least once. The road leading to the resort isn't great, but passable if you take it slow, within the resort the roads are fine.

My husband and I enjoyed the nature & the whole set up of the chalet. We would highly recommend this place to anyone it's even kids friendly, but if you need a getaway with your spouse away from the world than this is definitely the place to be at. My host Anita & her husband were the best from day one of our arrival up to the last day of our check out.

We'd really be lying if we had any complaints during our stay.
