USIt was a unique place to stay
Checking in was a challenge with no staff on site. I did not see an email the day before and didn't have a code. I had paid in full. The gentleman on the "hotline" helped me work through it. A half hour later, we were in our room.n

UZUSGreat character. Great outdoors potential if we had more time and a larger group.
No staff on site. Food options needed to be ordered 24 hours in advance, which didn’t work with our timing for one night. Also no coffee available in the lobby.
USBeautiful home and a terrific room. We were visiting our daughter who just moved to Springfield and we had her over to play games in the game room.
The deadbolt on the door to the balcony was a little difficult to get to land but that is totally reasonable for a house of this age. As they continue to renovate, I'm sure they will get these details dialed in but they have so much of it done so well that that was literally the only thing I could come up with that was slightly negative.

USThe venue is wonderful. I would host an event there as well.
The check-in was a bit different in that it was all done via an intercom, but it worked. The main issue was a noisy refrigerator the kept us both awake. The following morning they said they knew about it and that a replacement was on order. That's good to know, but it didn't help our experience.

We only saw a staff member there after we checked in. We stayed 2 nights. No info in room on how to contact anyone. Missing a light bulb on 1 bed side table and the door to balcony had broken cracked glass.
