Not ideal for subzero temperatures. As an owner of an old house, I know how difficult it can be to keep spaces warm.

Didn’t meet one living person from the Hotel Staff! Just one other couple we ran into. We were, at the end ok with it, just really surprised. Had never been to a hotel like that before !! We don’t do B&B’s so maybe this is similar, not sure. It wasn’t bad enough to affect us to not stay there again, so all good. They could use a new grounds keeper, but other than that outside was nice too.

USIt was clean and nicely decorated. The air was cool. It was centrally located to downtown. There were plenty of towels and washcloths and toiletries.
The bed was terribly uncomfortable with really uncomfortable pillows. There was no bottles of water or even a granola bar. You could order an expensive plate for a snack by a certain time. There was an ice machine, but not a drink to put over it! The bathroom was freezing. The directions for unlocking the door were a bit confusing and could have been condensed. For the price we paid, we feel like they could have done a little bit. more for guests! There were some uncomfortable characters walking around close to the parking area as we pulled in after the fair, as well.
USWow...the size! I didn't expect this much when I booked. I wish I could have stayed more than 1 night to take advantage of all the space! Not just a comfy bed in a separate bedroom, but a very neat, yet small bathroom, full living room (with a spare bed if needed) and a KITCHEN! So nice to have, but I didn't know it was included! (I could have taken better advantage of it!)
location: When I booked I wasn't aware that I would be on the 3rd floor. I was alone this trip, but I often travel with a friend (me to visit my son and my grandbaby, and she to visit her sister)...she would not have been able to make it up the narrow steep stairs. The other thing I didn't 'enjoy' was the heat. Everything was off when I arrived, and it took a couple of hours to get a tolerable temperature (on a 100 degree day!) All of this I could tolerate, so not that important for me alone.
