A free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and Nikko Train Station from 14:00 to 18:00. No reservation is needed to use the shuttle; guests can simply call the hotel upon arrival at Nikko Train Station, and the shuttle should arrive in less than 10 minutes. Please note that restaurants around the area are limited and may close early in the evenings. Dining options may be difficult to find after this time. If guests with a room-only or a breakfast-inclusive rate wish to eat dinner and/or breakfast at the property, they need to make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. A meal request at time of check-in may not be accommodated. Children rates aged 6-11 years old will be charged separately upon arrival, guests can contact the property for more information. Guests arriving after check-in hours must inform the property in advance. If the property is not informed, the booking may be canceled. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please be informed that smoking is not permitted in guestrooms.Guests must check in by 19:00 to eat dinner at this property. Excellent location, woman’s onsen was clean

The dinner was fine, but as visitors, we were hopeful to have someone walk us through how to enjoy each part of the meal. Bedding could be better

EVERYTHING! I absolutely loved the place. The room was so nice, packed with great small treatments, the view from the room was breathtaking. You can go to the public onsen as much as you like, and I even rented the private onsen, and it was just what I needed. The private onsen was so good, needless to say it was tidy clean, the atmosphere was amazing, I absolutely loved it!

Location right next to Shinkyo bridge! 5 min drive away from Tobu nikko station. Walkable! Breakfast were excellent and Kaiseki dinner was superb and gorgeous! Onsen was beautiful and relaxing. Free pick up to and from hotel was a plus! Staff were very kind and helpful.

"So ein Onsen gehört zu jeder Japanreise!"

Das japanische Tatami-Zimmer hat mir sehr gut gefallen, die Futonbetten waren gemütlich. Das Fenster bot einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf geisterhaft umwölkte Berge. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, fußläufig zu den wichtigsten Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Das Essen war fantastisch, Kaiseki, also saisonal angestimmte kleine Gänge, die ansprechend präsentiert wurden.

"A ryokan with excellent service and all the facilities you could need"

Everything was just so practical. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the two railway stations in Nikko, and they were even able to come pick me up out of schedule. The hotel is very close to the temples and shrines in Nikko, so it was easy to reach them on foot. Dinner was a very pleasant experience, and the menu was adjusted to the dietary needs I had communicated in advance. The onsen (thermal bath) was mostly empty, so I usually had it all for myself. Most staff were able to communicate in English.

"Comfortabel hotel op goede locatie"

Prachtige, comfortabele kamer. Japanse maaltijden goed verzorgd. Vlakbij de Skinkyo brug en op loopafstand van de Unesco Wereld Erfgoed sites.

Helaas geen mogelijkheid om kleding te laten wassen.
