A free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and Nikko Train Station from 14:00 to 18:00. No reservation is needed to use the shuttle; guests can simply call the hotel upon arrival at Nikko Train Station, and the shuttle should arrive in less than 10 minutes. Please note that restaurants around the area are limited and may close early in the evenings. Dining options may be difficult to find after this time. If guests with a room-only or a breakfast-inclusive rate wish to eat dinner and/or breakfast at the property, they need to make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. A meal request at time of check-in may not be accommodated. Children rates aged 6-11 years old will be charged separately upon arrival, guests can contact the property for more information. Guests arriving after check-in hours must inform the property in advance. If the property is not informed, the booking may be canceled. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Emplacement idéale pour visiter les temples. Excentrer du centre de la ville mais disponibilité d'une navette pour nous récupérer a la gare. Possibilité de réserver un onsen privé.

"Goed, authentiek verblijf op fantastische locatie"

Leuke, traditionele ryokan op een fantastische locatie met kleine onsen. Yucatan werd voorzien, leuke traditionele ervaring. Vervoer van en naar het station was ideaal. Kaiseki-diner en ontbijt waren goed! Tijdens het diner werd de kamer omgevormd tot slaapkamer; ook leuke ervaring om “op de grond” te slapen De bezienswaardigheden van Nikko lagen letterlijk achter de hoek. Ideaal!

It has a great location, very very close to world heritage area. Staff was very helpful. Private onsen was really clean. Rooms were spacious and futons were comfortable.

Dinner and breakfast may need more work, It wasn't up to price of the Ryokan. I expected a better dinner for this price range.

"Great location, old hotel."

The location is absolutely amazing. Very central to most attractions and close to the much needed bus stops.

It was quite expensive for a run down hotel. It’s more of a 2 star with much needed renovation. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and bugs in the room. You also have to book a specific time for breakfast and dinner, rather than just walking in.

Fantastic staff , with wonderful food. The few from the restaurant is lovely with all the mosses. Central to everything you need in Nikko. Staff very attentive, wish we could have stayed longer

Our stay was great. The staff were kind, professional, and always helpful. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and delicious, offering a perfect taste of traditional Japanese cuisine. We also loved the experience of staying in a Japanese-style room, which made our stay even more special and authentic.
