Little Oak Cottage

Loved the pet friendly accommodation!

It can't be helped, but there was Co struction noise on both sides of the property when we stayed there, super annoying.

Close to the center of the town, but far enough to be peaceful. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed the large fireplace and the little plunge pool.

The house doesn’t face the mountains, but that is clear from the photos.

Very comfortable cottage, lovely pool, braai and fireplace. Perfect garden for doggies :)

The location, the lovely garden, the size and the general cosiness.

The use of cool white lighting - something very minor, but warm lighting could really add to the cosiness/warmth of the cottage. Otherwise loved everything on offer

The house has a lovely view and large garden. It's very comfortable and is for the most part well equipped. It's very cosy. My dogs loved the garden. The loft bedroom and bathroom is large and is quite luxurious.

I chose to stay at this property because it had a pool. When I arrived I was dissapponted to find that not only was the pool unmaintained with lots of debris at the bottom, but that it was only half full and needed repairs. Unfortunately by the time the host managed to organize the pool service to come and fix the issue a few hours after my arrival the weather had turned. While the property manager was apologetic and handled it well, the property owner never once apologized and left quite a curt message. There are some basic, practical things missing- ice trays and tongs for the fireplace. There were also one or two small issues- the toilet doesn't flush very well and the front door doesn't open or close easily.

Amazing weekend at The Little Oak!! Nice and peaceful, cool pool, beautiful garden. Our cat also had the best time of her life. Definitely recommended staying here. We will be back for sure : )
