Maryann's

Despite my arriving earlier than anticipated I was greeted very warmly. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Free wi-fi. Bus stop almost outside the door into Huddersfield centre.

Location was excellent. Close to Bus Stop and not far from Railway Station for catching buses to different areas. Maryann very friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She drove me to Railway station when I left which I really appreciated.

I didn't like the shared bathroom which wasn't on the website.

Meryann is so kind and polite. The property is clean and cosy. The neighbourhood is calm.

1. Beautiful 'sandstone' block house, seems to be the typical building material for Huddersfield. 2. The shower worked really well, good water pressure and temperature. 3. Complementary tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, cafe creme and kettle to use 4. Complementary hair dryer, soap, body wash and shampoo. 5. Spacious room.

The shower screen could do with a new rubber seal at the bottom, as some of the water ran down the outside of the bath.

Maryann was always cheerful, kind, and incredibly supportive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her warm and welcoming hospitality, which made us feel right at home. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with everything close by, including downtown, the train and bus stations, halal restaurants, halal markets, a mosque, and major supermarkets like Tesco. The hotel features a well-equipped kitchen and living room on the ground floor, and a shared bathroom on the first floor. We truly enjoyed our stay there.
