We had a great 1 night stay on Venus cruise. We were in the Pearl Suite and the views of the bays were phenomenal. We received excellent knowledgeable and friendly service from Huan and Owen. The food was great too & good activities of kayaking and cave visit. We wish we could have stayed for 2 nights to make the most out of the ship.

The overall experience of staying in a cruise in the Halong Bay was good. Rooms with balcony was good. Food was mediocre. Dinner was served cold. The whole concept of happy hours was a total ripoff and paying for the drinking water at the table during lunch and dinner seemed ridiculous. For the price we pay to stay in one of the luxurious cruises, there could have been free water atleast and some entertainment in the night like other cruises near by. I will surely go back to Halong bay again but will stay in a less fancier cruise than this one.

Average breakfast lunch and dinner were fine

Had to pay for coffee and water at breakfast lunch and dinner. Not really a cruise, boat only moved for approx 2 hrs over 24 hrs being older we weren’t comfortable with the off boat activities and there were virtually no on board activities. Phone in room did not work and staff were unable to fix. If I knew now I would have organised a day cruise where the boat actually moves and you can take in all the wonderful scenery.

This is the best cruise I would suggest people. The hospitality is unbelievable and staffs were really polite and good. Mr. Owen, handled us really well. He arranged us a special candle light dinner because it was our honeymoon. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Era is now Venus, definitely recommend doing an overnight cruise to really appreciate the views and have quality time but I don’t think you’d need 2 nights IMO. I would not recommend booking with booking.com (I usually use them and will continue to do so) but it was not clear IMO exactly what was included- I thought spa bath would mean bath in room and was under impression this included all meals- Wrong, was additional costs which we incurred. The spa jets didn’t even work in bath! The food wasn’t up to much for westerners, the itinerary was quite rushed, cooking class was bit disappointing just showed you how to make spring roll. Tai chi at 6am for 15 minutes- unless you’re an early riser is it worth getting up for? Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed the whole experience of the cruise just want to make sure others check exactly what they’re booking. V overwhelmed when choosing which cruise I think they’re all pretty comparable and although the ship looks amazing it’s all really about the views outward from the boat! (Rooms were great size decor not as on pics) transfer costs were expensive I would recommend just getting a grab or taxi rather than arranging with cruise.
