Methow River Lodge and Cabins

We love the proximity to the river, the deer and turkeys walking around are an added bonus.

Breakfast was Meh.... nothing to write home about, your average stale bread items, pretty unremarkable.

We had a very nice room with a back porch looking out over the river. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was friendly. We were happy that they had a washer and dryer available to us. It was just a short drive to the quaint downtown area.

The mini fridge didn’t have a freezer section. Breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00am. This was a little late for those wanting to get an early start on hiking in the park.

We really liked the location.

The young man, receptionist, was not helpful at all. From the beginning he had an attitude, I stopped by to ask him if there was a trick to the hot tub because I couldn’t turn it on and he acted like it wasn’t his problem. Said he was going to look at it but never heard anything from him and the hot tub did not work. I messaged the property about the issue and they never responded. We were really looking forward to the hot tub and you could tell they had been working on it and knew it wasn’t working but will not respond to our request for at least a partial refund. We peaked at breakfast options and just decided to go elsewhere as well. The cabin was ok, all furniture very uncomfortable and dirty socks left behind in the closet which tells me the place is probably not very clean. Would not stay here again.
