Methow River Lodge and Cabins

Location was great. The rooms were large and very comfortable in a pretty and relaxing setting. Breakfast was simple, continental - nothing to stand out from standard motel fare. That aside, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Room was nice and clean. Near North Cascades National Park.

The room was nice and large and the bed comfortable. Bonus was a deck overlooking the Methow river.

Breakfast was skimpy and very little fruit.

The room was visibly dirty! The tub literally had not been actually cleaned in weeks. We talked with the lady at the office and she said it would be cleaned while we were out. Came back and the room hadn't been touched. I asked her to come take a look and she preceded to say the tub was stained! You could see where we wiped the muck off of one area. She left and never did anything about it. We only had one bath towel, no bath mat,and they left previous dirty sheets in room! We were celebrating our Anniversary, and it was an awful experience as far as the room goes. It wasn't a cheap hotel, so wasn't expecting such awful conditions, and the front staff was no help!! There was other things as well, I would never recommend this place.

Overall a nice lodge. No elevator, so be aware of that. We were on 2nd floor with a king and a balcony. Nice, clean, quiet room. Comfy bed. The lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful but can’t say that about the morning staff. Breakfast was basically cereal or toast. We asked about coffee and were snipped at. I asked if they had a trail map for the area and received a snippy no, but a very nice gas station attendant down the road a little ways pointed out there was a very nice trail right behind the lodge we stayed in. It seems she could have pointed that out to us. Deer in the yard evening and morning. Very basic decent place to stay with few amenities.

The location was perfect for hitting the trails around the North Cascades as well as a walk away from the quaint town of Winthrop. The staff were friendly and breakfast was a plus.

Love this lodge, it's really cozy and the internet so fast. I'd come back and stay at the cabin next time if it's available

Maybe the bathtub is a lil bit small but no problem

Tolles Zimmer mit separatem Schlafzimmer (Room 19), ideal für Familien oder für Paare, die länger bleiben. Klasse Balkon mit schöner Aussicht auf den Fluß. Morgens Rehe und Turkeys im Garten. Tolle Anbindung an die historische Stadt, sehr gut über eine Brücke zu Fuß erreichbar. Einfaches, aber ausreichendes kleines Frühstück. Das war OK. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einzelne Cabins.

Es waren noch Urinspritzer an der Toilettenbrille. Haben wir aber mit unserem Hygienespray schnell selbst behoben. Sollte man als Hotel aber drauf achten.

Booked downstairs through booking dot com arrived at the facility no down stairs available and were not notified of required downstairs. Totally unacceptable very disappointing as we are 80 years old and had to deal with stairs for the 3 day stay.
