Comfy beds and hot shower

Full of charm and character. Clean, tidy and surprisingly very spacious. Lovely touch leaving milk, butter and biscuits which were well received. Fantastic location to explore Kendal and surrounding areas.

Really clean, spacious and had everything we needed, the host even left us some milk and cookies which was a lovely touch.

Really well located, very clean and great decoration. The kitchen comes with all the utensils you’d need to cook, and there are many shops and pubs around the property. We had a lovely time !!

Lovely spacious apartment with beautiful features.

Very noisy road. Busy with really fast traffic throughout the day and during the night. Earplugs are highly recommended!

Comfortable cosy and bigger than expected. The property was in a lovely old building and well equipped with everything we needed. The property was well located for exploring Kendal and the Lake District and the parking permit was very useful. The host sent helpful messages beforehand and even posted something we left behind.

The road was noisier than we are used to but still slept well on the comfy beds.

The unique features - grandfather clock, piano, wooden beams. Truly beautiful.

The flat was full of charm, spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with our host, Beth, was excellent — friendly, quick and helpful. The location was great too: just a short walk into Kendal with nice restaurants nearby, and there was even a trail running shop two doors down. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches like cookies and milk in the fridge.

Nothing severe, but when we arrived, the flat was quite cold and needed some time to warm up. Also, the bedrooms face the main road, so there was occasional traffic noise at night when the windows were open — including some occasional speeding cars.

The apartment is lovely and even better than the pictures. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the top floor open plan kitchen/living is a relaxing space. Free parking a big perk too

Beth was super friendly, gave clear instructions, and offered to be contacted at any time if required. The loft is super quirky, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and more. Games, books, treats for the dog and plenty of other useful items. The loft is located on a busy road, but for us, it made no difference. Would definitely return. Many thanks to the property owners.
