Spacious Worcester City Centre House

The location was very convenient

We felt we had to wash everything in the kitchen before we used it. The trays in the oven still had food on it. The cups had hair on them. Every time you open a cupboard the door will fall off. The owners said it had been cleaned before we got there but the place was filthy. The blinds are spluttered in muck. The garden is full of rubble. There were vapes in the lounge. Half way through the week, a man turned up and barged into the house demanding to find a bag and opened all the cupboards then left. All round only just passable as somewhere to stay. Felt like a student house, not a holiday house.

Spacious yard, lots of beds, bottle of wine for us which was a lovely touch.

Not enough kitchen supplies like pots, pans, tea towels glasses, etc. The whole place needs updated decor, new bathroom, chipped flooring repaired, new furniture, closets replaced, under beds cleaned. Need to be able to access spare sheets and towels. There was a bunch of ruble where a conservatory was torn down in the back and you had to walk across it to reach the garden.

The property is close to shops to grab any food or other necessities. It is perfect to get away from the busy city life as there are many walking trails close by. The hosts were extremely helpful and quick to resolve any issues.

The only thing we liked was, clean towels & bedding, the beds were ok, not far to walk into the city

It was rundown, things were broke in the property, photos had to be taken, we had to clean the fridge, glasses & cups before using them, rubbish bins were full outside & rubbish at the side of the bins, we could not use the back garden, a lot of rubble, garage & 2 sheds falling down, a extension not finished, children would not be able to play in the garden, unsafe. I have given the owner a chance to give a discount but not replied since their first email. Their first email offered us another stay at the property AFTER the work is done I have photographic proof of the state of the property & feel reluctant to be raising all these issues but the property should be put right before letting it out again. Location was good & key safe collection good. Adequate bedding, which was clean and beds were comfortable. More than sufficient parking, which was excellent as we were travelling for work

House overall was a little tired and dated, peeling wallpaper and peeling gloss work etc. Not enough crockery to serve dinner, no wine glasses. Items left in the fridge presumably from previous occupants.
