Pinewood Cottage Self Catering Apartments and studio apartments

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the property, we were very comfortable-thank you!!!

Clean and generally well equipped; near to shops etc but set back from busy road; helpful host.

Rather dark, especially bathroom; there could have been a few more utensils.

P2, the apartment we stayed in suited us perfectly. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Just wished we had made time to use the whirlpool bath! There was a table and chairs outside which were perfect for an evening G & T. The property was within easy walking distance to Lyndhurst High Street where there is an abundance of eateries and you only have to cross the road to be out in the forest.

I can’t really find any fault with the property. If I were to be picky, it would be to have a chest of drawers as there wasn’t anywhere to put non wardrobe clothes but that is really minor. We didn’t get the jam and butter that goes with the welcome pack but again, no biggie.

Pinewood Cottage was very comfortable, the facilities were generally as advertised if a bit basic, and the price was very fair as Lyndhurst is a desirable location. Lyndhurst is a lovely village, with some good restaurants and local shops for convenience. The location of Pinewood Cottage is fantastic. Just across Southampton Road are Bolton's Bench and surrounding areas of the New Forest, which are great for walks. There are also bus stops very close by where you can catch the New Forest Tour buses to Brockenhurst, Lymington and many other locations and tourist attractions throughout the New Forest. All in all, Pinewood Cottage had everything I needed for a restful, stress-free break.

Lovely spacious and clean with everything you need for a stay in a great location

Ease of key collection milk bread small jams and milk left for our arrival nice and thought full area is really nice with horses and donkeys walking around lovely.

Smelt when we walked in to the property piece of black sticky tap holding a floor board down supposed to be deluxe not my words bulb in bathroom on its way out making a dark bathroom even more darker Waredrobe smelt funny didn’t put our clothes into it and the tv did work till the last night of our stay property advertising says it has a hot tub it doesn’t this was the only reason we booked this stay we wanted a hot tub you can smell smoke from the hotel beer garden next door no privacy at all road noise isn’t good cigarette ends left on floor for our arrival I cleaned them up would stay again if it was free .

The property lived up to the photographs of the itself, a generous welcome pack was left for our arrival. The towels were exceptional quality, and Netflix and WiFi being included was a nice bonus.
