Pinewood Cottage Self Catering Apartments and studio apartments

Easy walk to the town. Dog walk just across the road … great communication from the host and he helped when I messaged him promptly, he also came and checked all was ok. Very clean and all that I needed I would definitely stay in this accommodation again

I suggested a full length mirror by the door and an airfryer (these appliances can can be more problematic ) I managed well with the microwave …everything else exceeded my expectations

Great location to explore Lyndhurst and New Forest. Easy to find and plenty of room for 3.

Most of the cutlery and crockery was slightly dirty and had to be rewashed before it could be used. Quite a few sticky surfaces too eg kitchen table. A working outside light would have helped when locating the keys and property.

Clean and welcoming, private entrance and your own space to come and go as you pleased. Short walk into Lyndhurst centre which has all attributes of a small town as well as the New Forest visitor centre and plenty of good pubs and restaurants. Property was just off the main road but despite lots of traffic it was quiet, bed was comfy, a few nice touches were fresh danish pastries, tea coffee and milk and fresh flowers. Owner was quick to reply to text messages but not intrusive (we didn’t meet him). Practical, well priced and would book again.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location to lyndhurst is 5mins, so perfect location for all your requirements, walking your dog opposite is perfect if you don't want to drive. The property was spotlessly clean the host explained everything thing to us regarding heating etc, the first thing I noticed was the the thoughtfulness of the host, tea, coffee, sugar, a loaf of bread and milk, butter and jam that had been left for us to enjoy upon arrival, much appreciated.We had the deluxe apartment as we wanted the garden.

Quiet, cozy, clean, well organized.

Wifi was not good in the entrance area, but no show stopper.

Lovely studio apartment in a bungalow, with everything we could possibly need - including a dishwasher and washing machine with their tablets. Comfy superking bed and Smart TV. Very clean and warm. Fabulous location on the edge of Lyndhurst with its various pubs and restaurants, and minutes from moorland with free-roaming ponies.

Can’t think of any negatives!

Self catering. KItchen equipment basic but adequate and non fussy. Parking good.

The lock box was fiddly and located over a drain. The entry door was VERY difficult to lock/unlock, and there was a gap at the bottom between the door and the frame. One conservatory window appeared mis-aligned and could not be fully closed. The kitchen window similarly. The advertising did not make it clear that the main large bedroom was situated between the kitchen and the dining/sitting area, so that the upstairs guests had to use it as their access point.
