A long transfer from Sao Tome, prebooked taxi was about 2 hours late. Return transfer was late too so factor this into your trip. Lovely big room with a double and single. Lunch was 10 Euros and dinner (buffet) 20 euros Be sure to stock up on necessities before your arrival as there are no shops within walking distance. Took the most amazing trip to Rolas Island organised by the staff for 15 Euros. Every night we saw a large turtle try to lay her eggs about 10pm

Leve Leve, everything runs on island time. Don't be a rush for anything. We read the reviews and settled our food bill after every meal as to avoid any problems

Lunch/dinner pricy The road (even if its state does not depend on the ecolodge) is an absolute nightmare and kills the positives of the place if you're here for a short stay. Make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle and are very experienced if you decide to travel here on your own.

I really wish someone could fix the roads to access this place because it doesn't help at all!

We spent a relaxing four days in this ecolodge, our accommodations shone in cheerful colors typical of the country, and at night we could watch large sea turtles laying their eggs on the beaches. The food in the form of a buffet was sumptuous, very tasty and lovingly designed.
