Some of the outside sitting furniture I need of repair, update. More umbrellas as it was a super sunny day. No breakfast, although lovely cafe 250 yards away

Great location to explore the area. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Food in the pub was really nice too.

The property is perfectly located in a quaint village just outside Keswick The staff were polite and helpful and the food and drinks were excellent quality and reasonably priced The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained We will definitely be returning and would have no hesitation in recommending The Royal Oak

Nothing couldn’t fault it

Brilliant location, great for walking and stunning views. Very comfortable room with everything you need for a short stay. Nice and quiet after 11pm (see comment below).

If you are on the first floor you can hear the customers in the pub below. Bar and food prices are quite expensive.

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was not included, which seemed miserly when the room cost £125.00.
