This is for the TENMAN house. Overall an amazing stay, quite street, close walking distance to everything (2 mins from the check in building, 5 mins from the train station, 8 mins to old town). It has everything you need

The only place I could see for improvement is the bathroom/shower. It could use some towel hooks inside the shower room and the temperature for the shower/outside tub did not get as warm as the indoor tub, even setting it to 45+ and moving the temperature adjustment on the shower to max, it was being limited somewhere.

Accoglienza gentilissima nella reception accanto alla stazione, la ragazza gentilissima poi mi ha accompagnata in suto all'abitazione situata ad un paio di chilometri di distanza. Casa meravigliosa, calda e ampia, in pieno stile tipico ma curata in ogni dettaglio. Pulizia meticolosa ovunque,, cucina ben dotata, bagno splendido. Colazione deliziosa (per me vegana) servita in cucina all'orario convenuto. La zona poi era veramente bellissima. Alla fine del soggiorno sono venuti a prendermi in auto all'orario che avevamo stabilito e mi hanno accompagnata in stazione. Davvero grande cura per l'ospite, grazie!

It was an incredible experience to stay in this property in Takayama. The hot bath in the courtyard was great - and felt particularly special with the snow on the ground. The house itself is quite old and not well-insulated, so the rooms were quite cold in winter. There were heaters and air conditioners in every room to get the place warmed up of course.

Well renovated traditional Japanese house. All amenities and a few nice extra touches like drinks in the fridge and some products in the bathroom. They were very organised and welcoming even providing a lift to the station at checkout.

The only issue was a noisy gutter dripping on the roof when it was raining one night. A bit of a disrupted nights sleep.
