Salty Fish Mirissa

It was cheap and cozy. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a good expirience.

The room was amazing, very clean and the host was super nice. Everything in Mirissa was in walking distance, which was very convenient.

kind host, nice style rooms

no hot water, really loud, its like there is no walls between the rooms. There is no drying machine so it can take up to several days until you get the dry chlothes.

Staff were so lovely and friendly - welcomed us with drinks and were always on hand if we needed anything. The two dogs Milo and Bingo were super cute and loved cuddles!

Our room was basically a shed… The walls are made of wooden panels and the roof is a tin. The pictures are a little bit deceiving tbh. We kept getting ants and spiders in the room which wasn’t nice. We could hear everything all night - people in the room next door, people in the houses around, dogs barking all night. For the price we paid, could’ve been in a different home stay which included breakfast too. It got very hot in the room even with the ceiling fan. It’s a shame because the family are so nice and lovely but this was not worth the price.

I mainly stayed in the area for the whale watching tour so this hotel is perfectly located for this due to the early start of the tours. The room was so cute and felt I keeping with the vibe of Mirissa. The lady behind the check in desk was oh so friendly, the welcoming smile and just genuine kindness makes such a difference when staying in a foreign country! I am so happy I picked salty fish

We loved it there! We spended 9 nights there and going to be spend 4 more and the and of our travel. Nilanthi (the mom of the owner) was there and super nice and helpful. Awesome breakfast! And easy with the laundry service and scooter renting... We will come back! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location, lovely owner, beautiful puppies to greet you. Perfect for a few days! Our key broke, and the owner was really responsive and organised to get it fixed quickly.
