Salty Fish Mirissa

The room with the balcony was beautiful! Such a fun beach vibe type place, and really nice views. There is a cafe attached to the hotel, and the staff there (who also help with the rooms) were incredibly friendly. Maybe the nicest people I've met in Sri Lanka! They were quick to solve any issues and give suggestions on what to do and where to go. Could not have been nicer.

Can't fault the hotel for this as I knowingly booked a non AC room, but the heat was brutal. The fan was good but it was not enough. I was starting to suffer from heat exhaustion on my third day here. The location is perfect for Whale Watching (right next to the harbour), but it's a 5-10 minute walk away from the main street where most things are. Doesn't seem far, but in the heat, it is. There was a bit of an ant problem in my room.

Lovely place to stay behind a really cool cafe with great coffee. People running it are really nice and helpful. Location is fairly good on a quieter street in Mirissa.

Super nice hosts! They organized a really good and affordable whale watching tour as well as a scooter and offered to help with everything we needed. Nice room, Harbour view, air circulation with comfortable temperature. We enjoyed the time a lot!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The room is simple, but with attention to detail. The staff is very kind. In front of the hotel is koral café which not only provides amazing coffee (hard to find in Sri Lanka) and smoothie bowls, but also a social space to interact with other travelers.

it was really close to all the best beaches and the actual room and downstairs coffeplace was super cute.

Super Kind and warm hosts. Really enjoyed our stay at the cute guesthouse. There is also a cafe downstairs, where you can have really good breakfast and coffee. We received helpful tips about beaches and yoga.
